A German friend of mine has taught me how to make cookies that are very similar to this, only they have a layer of butter/cocoa/confectioner's sugar sandwiched between two cookies. They're my favorite cookies!

These cookies are delicious. I always used to buy lots of them in Greece when i was living in Katerini Pierias. When i will get back i will definetely buy some or ask my mother to make some. I really like the flavor from ginger. I also love everything that has to do with cinamon.

I just made those cookies and I loved it!
I changed some things from your recipe... I used 100g of white sugar and 100g of brown sugar, 1g of nutmeg powder, 1g of ginger, 2g of cinnamon and instead of strong coffee i used 1/2 tsp of cofee and some water (about 4Tbs).

I thing the ginger is one of the most active flavor. Firt you notice its fresh taste and then the taste of cocoa and cinnamon.

Thanks for this delicious recipe!
